Life's Lowest Point

我，80后，大学毕业就嫁给了大我两届的学长。一起创业，十年后，我们终于在一线城市有了自己的房子、车子和小公司，有了十几名员工和稳定的客户。终于敢要孩子了。作为高龄产妇，九死一生。从此，我生命的重心就是女儿。我放下一切，成为了全职妈妈。然而，在女儿上幼儿园后不久，原本活泼好动、古灵精怪的她，变得胆小内向、经常半夜被噩梦惊醒。辗转得知，她在幼儿园被老师言语霸凌了。与此同时，老公出轨了。我们离婚了。

无业、失婚，我带上同样满身伤痕的女儿，和远不能躺平的存款，离开了这伤心之地，来到了曼谷。

I am an 80s-born mother. After graduating from university, I married my senior who was two years ahead of me. We started a business together, and ten years later, we finally had our own house, car, and a small company in a first-tier city, with a dozen employees and stable clients. We finally dared to have a child. As an older mother, I went through a near-death experience during childbirth. From then on, my daughter became the center of my life. I gave up everything to become a full-time mom. However, shortly after my daughter started kindergarten, she became timid and frequently woke up from nightmares. I found out that she was verbally bullied by her teacher. At the same time, my husband cheated on me. We got divorced.

Unemployed and heartbroken, I took my daughter, who was also scarred, and the little savings we had, and left the place of sadness to come to Bangkok.

Moving to Bangkok

女儿考上了一所国际学校。在这所学校，没有作业和考试排名，课堂就是活动，学习就是游戏。半年后，她交了许多不同肤色的小伙伴，说得一口流利的英语。最重要的是，我的那个活泼快乐的女儿又回来了！

My daughter got admitted to an international school. In this school, there were no homework or exam rankings; the classroom was full of activities, and learning was through games. Six months later, she made many friends of different skin colors and spoke fluent English. Most importantly, my lively and happy daughter was back!

曼谷生活便捷、国际化程度很高，物价也比北上广深低不少，其中医疗是第一世界的技术、第三世界的价格。快乐友善的笑脸、丰富的文化生活和热带的阳光，也让我走出了阴霾。

我决定在曼谷安家。

Life in Bangkok is convenient and highly international, with prices lower than in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. The medical care here is world-class technology at third-world prices. The friendly faces, rich cultural life, and tropical sunshine helped me walk out of the shadows.

I decided to settle down in Bangkok.

Encountering COCO PARC

我选择了离女儿学校不远的公寓COCO PARC。

I chose COCO PARC, a condominium not far from my daughter’s school.

The first time I walked into COCO PARC, I was immediately attracted by its modern design and warm atmosphere. The facilities are comprehensive, with a gym, swimming pool, garden, and reception area, matching the quality of high-end residential areas in first-tier cities in China.

The surrounding medical resources are equally rich, with several hospitals nearby, including the research-oriented Chulalongkorn King Memorial Hospital and the highly rated private MedPark Hospital.

根据我多年经商的经验，COCO PARC不仅适合自己居住，也适合投资。我当即就买下了两套，把其中的一套交给物业管理，租金足以覆盖我俩的日常生活开销。

With my years of business experience, I realized that COCO PARC is not only suitable for personal residence but also a good investment. I immediately bought two units, renting out one of them. The rental income is enough to cover our daily expenses.

 Life in COCO PARC

在COCO PARC的生活，让我感受到无限的满足和幸福。

清晨，女儿还在熟睡，我已经在健身房里慢跑、撸铁。体重回到十年前，肌肉线条也出来了，元气满满地回到房间，用香喷喷的早餐将女儿唤醒。

Life at COCO PARC has brought me immense satisfaction and happiness.

In the morning, while my daughter is still asleep, I go to the gym for a run and some weight training. I have returned to my weight from ten years ago and have developed some muscle tone. I return to the apartment full of energy and wake my daughter up with a delicious breakfast.

把女儿送去学校，我去附近的Toat Food Market逛逛清晨跳蚤市场、吃个泰式早餐，或者去孔堤市场买个菜。

After sending my daughter to school, I like to visit the Toat Food Market for the early morning flea market and have a Thai breakfast, or go to Khlong Toei Market to buy groceries.

然后，坐上MRT，不一会儿就可以到达尚泰世界购物中心或素坤逸罗宾森百货商场。或者就是citywalk，在曼谷市区探险，不用走太远，到处都是咖啡馆、美术馆、博物馆、古着店······这个城市，总有惊喜在等着我。当然，各种国际化的社群文化活动夜市这个城市的标配。

Then, I take the MRT, and in no time, I can reach CentralWorld or Robinson Department Store on Sukhumvit Road. Sometimes I go for a city walk, exploring Bangkok. Everywhere I go, there are coffee shops, art galleries, museums, vintage stores... This city always has surprises waiting for me. Various international community activities and night markets are a standard feature of this city.

下午，接女儿回家时，游泳教练已经在COCO PARC的泳池等她了。

游完泳，永动机一般的女儿换上轮滑鞋，带上观鸟镜，要去附近公园拜访她的动物朋友们，我换上慢跑鞋陪着她。她有时去班嘉琦缇皇后公园看钳嘴鹳，有时去伦披尼公园看鳄鱼一般大小、却非常温顺的圆鼻巨蜥。

In the afternoon, when I pick my daughter up from school, her swimming coach is already waiting for her at the COCO PARC pool.

After swimming, my daughter, who is like a perpetual motion machine, puts on her roller skates and grabs her binoculars to visit her animal friends in the nearby parks. I put on my running shoes to accompany her. Sometimes she goes to Benjakitti Park to see the Asian openbill storks, and sometimes to Lumpini Park to see the giant monitor lizards, which, despite their crocodile-like appearance, are very gentle.

坐在公园湖边，看完夕阳和晚霞，我们喜欢去旁边的峇客大厦喝饮料、吃晚餐，在这里，各国风味的美食供我们选择。如果我俩想吃顿好的，周边的米其林餐厅也不少。

Sitting by the park lake, watching the sunset and twilight, we like to go to nearby BACC to have drinks and dinner. Here, we can choose from a variety of international cuisines. If we want a special treat, there are plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants in the area.

周末，图书馆、美术馆、博物馆、海洋馆、夜市······即使就在家附近，我们也永远不会无聊。

到了女儿假期，我俩喜欢公路旅行，近有华欣的海滩、北碧的瀑布；再远一点，开车上渡轮，去到美丽的的热带海岛。游泳、冲浪、攀岩、马术、溯溪、高尔夫、皮划艇······女儿在七八岁的年龄就全都体验了。

On weekends, the library, art galleries, museums, aquariums, and night markets ensure we are never bored, even if we stay close to home.During my daughter’s holidays, we enjoy road trips. We visit nearby places like Hua Hin’s beaches and Kanchanaburi’s waterfalls. For longer trips, we drive to the ferry to visit beautiful tropical islands. Swimming, surfing, rock climbing, horse riding, trekking, golfing, kayaking... My daughter has experienced all these at the tender age of seven or eight.

夜晚，每当女儿入睡，我总爱站在阳台上，俯瞰这座城市的灯火，回想一路走来，如同梦境。

At night, after my daughter falls asleep, I love to stand on the balcony, overlooking the city lights, and reminisce about the journey we've been through, feeling like it’s all a dream.

Looking Forward

感谢曼谷，接纳了我和女儿，疗愈了我们的伤痛，

也感谢COCO PARC，我不仅找到了一个舒适的家，更找到了内心的宁静与力量。

也感谢曾经的坎坷，已经翻盘的我，因此也不再害怕翻船。

我报名了朱拉隆功大学的泰语课程，和泰国朋友合伙注册了公司，陪读签证也换成了工作签。

重启人生，我在这里看到了未来。

And I am thankful for the past hardships. Now that I have turned the tables, I am no longer afraid of setbacks.

I have enrolled in a Thai language course at Chulalongkorn University, partnered with a Thai friend to start a business, and changed my dependent visa to a work visa.

Restarting my life here, I see a bright future ahead.
